I would love this to be true. The only scenario I recognise from that list is the first: Stan Nicholls' Orcs. If anyone knows of these books-please suggest them to me?

The second volume of William A. Patterson's Robert Heinlein: In Dialogue With His Century, a book assumed to be a shoein for the Hugos, was shuttered out by the Puppies' ballot-boxing and their ignorance about this years pickings (which weren't slim at all).

Sad Puppies has been run for three years. This is the first time they have had any significant impact. Nerd reactionism is a small backlash against progressivism; a vocal minority, if you will. It will blow over, like all reactionism does.
